    Lidia Fonseca is the Chief Digital and Technology Officer at Pfizer, where she leads the pharmaceutical giant's digital transformation and AI strategy. She oversees the application of artificial intelligence across drug discovery, clinical trials, manufacturing, and commercial operations — accelerating Pfizer's ability to develop and deliver life-saving medicines.

    Before joining Pfizer, Fonseca served as Chief Information Officer at Quest Diagnostics, one of the largest clinical laboratory companies in the United States, where she led a comprehensive digital transformation. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.

    At Pfizer, Fonseca has driven the adoption of AI and machine learning to optimize clinical trial design, accelerate drug candidate identification, and improve manufacturing quality control. Her work played a role in enabling Pfizer's rapid COVID-19 vaccine development and deployment.
