    VP of AI Research, NVIDIA

Sanja Fidler is the Vice President of AI Research at NVIDIA and a professor at the University of Toronto. She leads research on computer vision, natural language processing, generative AI, and 3D scene understanding at NVIDIA Research.

Fidler's research focuses on the intersection of language and visual perception — teaching AI systems to understand, generate, and interact with 3D environments using natural language. Her work has applications in autonomous driving, video game development, digital content creation, and virtual world building.

She has published extensively in top AI conferences and journals, and her research on 3D object detection, scene understanding, and text-to-3D generation has been highly influential. At NVIDIA, her team develops foundational AI technologies that power the company's Omniverse platform and generative AI tools.

Fidler holds a PhD from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Toronto.
