Aparna Chennapragada
Chief Product Officer, Microsoft
Aparna Chennapragada is the Chief Product Officer of M365 AI Experiences (AIX) at Microsoft, where she leads AI product strategy for Microsoft's productivity suite, including Copilot, Microsoft 365, and Designer. Her focus is on shaping how generative AI transforms the way people work — through tools that rethink how people create, decide, and collaborate.
Born in India, Chennapragada studied Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras and holds a Master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She has over 25 years of experience as a senior executive, founder, and product leader.
Before Microsoft, she was VP of Product Management at Google, where she was the visionary behind Google Lens — the visual search product that uses AI to understand the world through a phone's camera. She also led AR initiatives at Google and served as CPO at Robinhood. Her career trajectory from Google Lens to Microsoft's AI products reflects her deep expertise in building AI-powered consumer experiences at massive scale.
