Women in AI
Sandra Joyce
VP of Threat Intelligence, Google Cloud
Sandra Joyce is the Vice President of Threat Intelligence at Google Cloud, leading one of the world's premier cybersecurity intelligence teams (formerly known as Mandiant). She oversees a global team of intelligence analysts, researchers, and incident responders who track and analyze the most sophisticated cyber threats targeting organizations worldwide.
Joyce's team uses AI and machine learning to detect, analyze, and attribute cyberattacks — from nation-state espionage campaigns to ransomware operations. Mandiant (acquired by Google in 2022 for $5.4 billion) is widely regarded as the gold standard in cybersecurity threat intelligence.
Before Google, Joyce built her career in cybersecurity and intelligence, developing deep expertise in advanced persistent threats (APTs), nation-state cyber operations, and incident response. Her work is critical to protecting enterprises, governments, and critical infrastructure from increasingly AI-powered cyber threats.
