Wardah Inam is the CEO and co-founder of Overjet, an AI company transforming dental care through computer vision and machine learning. Born in Pakistan, Inam earned her PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) before launching Overjet in 2018.
Overjet's FDA-cleared AI platform, trained on millions of dental X-rays, can detect, outline, and quantify oral diseases including cavities, bone loss, and calculus in real-time. The technology is used by thousands of dentists across North America, integrating directly into dental practice management software and insurance workflows.
Inam's work is significant because dental care has historically relied heavily on subjective visual assessment.
